The State Administration of Foreign Exchange recently issued the Notice of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Issuing the Guidelines on the Administration of Foreign Exchange concerning Insurance Business.
The Guidelines raise requirements for the administration of foreign exchange concerning insurance business from five perspectives including simplification of administrative procedures and the delegation of powers to lower levels, standardization of administration, cleaning-up of regulations, simplification of formalities and improvement of supervision.
The Guidelines will come into force on March 1.
