The Ministry of Commerce has been drafting the Measures for the Implementation of Trade Policy Compliance, which will be issued later this year.
Trade policy compliance means that rules, regulatory documents and other polices and measures enacted by a department of the State Council, a people's government at any level or a department thereof which are related to or likely to impact trade in goods, trade in services or relevant intellectual property rights should comply with the WTO Agreement, annexes thereof and subsequent agreements, the Protocol on the Accession of the People's Republic of China and the Report of the Working Party on the Accession of China.
