The Supreme People's Procuratorate recently revised and issued the Provisions on the Handling of Tip-offs by People's Procuratorates.
The revised Provisions outline the various rights of an informant for the first time. In addition, the provisions on issues such as handling a clue, protecting an informant, rewarding an informant who gives valuable information, clarifying a false tip-off and accountability are modified.
