The State Council adopted the (Draft) Amendment to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Promoting the Utilization of Scientific and Technological Achievements on November 19, which is to be deliberated by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
The Draft Amendment adds chapters on cooperation between scientific research institutions, universities and companies, services for utilizing scientific and technological achievements, scientific and technological achievements in government-funded projects, and financial support.
Moreover, Articles 46, 47 and 48 of the Draft Amendment provide for incentive mechanisms.
