On December 18, the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) released the Measures for Handling of Major Tax Cases.
The Measures emphasize protection of legitimate rights and interests of taxpayers, specify that hearings must be arranged if relevant party so requested so that taxpayers have the opportunity to present their statement, defense, argument and evidence.
The Measures will come into effect on February 1, 2015.
