The Ministry of Finance issued the Notice on Relevant Land Appreciation Tax Policies for Enterprise Reorganization and Restructuring. The Notice standardizes and integrates the previous land appreciation tax preferential policies in enterprise's reorganization and restructuring and maintain the land appreciation tax preferential policies appliacable to investment by enterprises with real estate and merger of enterprises. The Notice extends the preferential scope to including enterprise restructuring into company form and spin-off.
The aforesaid land appreciation tax policy for enterprises reorganization does not apply to real estate development enterprises.
