The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology solicits public opinions on the Measures of Administration of Restrictive Use of Harmful Substances in Electric Appliances and Electronic Products.
Under the Measures, manufacturers and importers of electric appliances and electronic products shall label harmful substances used in their electric appliances and electronic products they put on the market according to national or industrial standards of restrictive use of harmful substances mark. In the meantime, the State shall establish a complilance assessment system regarding restrictive use of harmful substance in electric appliances and electronic products.
