| 1. The Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) shall be composed of 90 members for each term. The composition of the Legislative Council shall be as follows: | | 一、香港特别行政区立法会议员每届90人，组成如下： |
| Members returned by the Election Committee 40 | | 选举委员会选举的议员 40人 |
| Members returned by functional constituencies 30 | | 功能团体选举的议员 30人 |
| Members returned by geographical constituencies through direct elections 20 | | 分区直接选举的议员 20人 |
| The above-mentioned Election Committee refers to the one provided for in Annex I to this Law. | | 上述选举委员会即本法附件一规定的选举委员会。 |
| 2. Candidates for members of the Legislative Council returned by the Election Committee shall be nominated by at least 10 but no more than 20 members of the Election Committee, with at least 2 but no more than 4 members from each sector. Any eligible voter in an election of the Legislative Council may be nominated as a candidate. Each Election Committee member may nominate one candidate only. | | 二、选举委员会选举的议员候选人须获得不少于10名、不多于20名选举委员会委员的提名，且每个界别参与提名的委员不少于2名、不多于4名。任何合资格选民均可被提名为候选人。每名选举委员会委员只可提出一名候选人。 |
