The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) released the Administrative Measures for Futures Exchange (Exposure Draft) on September 17, 2022, and comments may be submitted until October 16, 2022.
The Draft details the provisions or adaptive adjustments in accordance with the Futures and Derivative Law. This Law not only clarifies the responsibilities, risk monitoring and response, and the publicity of quote information, but also makes institutional arrangements for the marketing of futures varieties, and the trading, settlement and closing of futures. In this end, the relevant content needs to be further specified or adjusted adaptively in this Draft. In addition to following the primary arrangements of previous versions, this Draft also refines relevant content in response to market development and regulatory practice, with a focus on implementing the requirements of the Futures and Derivative Law.
