Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and other 14 departments of the state jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of the Data Security Industry.
According to the Opinions, a number of key laboratories for data security at or above the provincial and ministerial level will be established and certified to tackle key technical problems and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Besides, the Opinions call for the development of fine and specialized data security products for key industries, and solutions and toolkits suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. Efforts should be made to support the development of customized and portable personal data security protection products.
