On November 7, 2023, the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce and the China International Contractors Association jointly released Guidelines for Safety Management of Overseas Chinese-funded Enterprises and their Employees (3rd Edition).
Compared with the previous ones, this edition adds President Xi Jinping's important statements on safeguarding the security of China's overseas interests to the general principles, reiterating the latest requirements of the Party Central Committee for overseas security work. In the part of practical operation, it adds new chapters regarding community risk control and insurance security, with the sections on travel safety refined.
