| For the purposes of enhancing the efficiency of patent examinations and advancing the development of information technology in the patent work, in accordance with Article 6 of the Provisions on the Electronic Application for Patents (Order No. 57, CNIPA), you are notified of matters concerning the full implementation of the submission of electronic patent files in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format as follows: | | 为提高专利审查效率，推进专利工作信息化建设，依据《关于专利电子申请的规定》（国家知识产权局第五十七号令）第六条规定，现就全面实施以可扩展标记语言（XML）格式提交专利电子文件相关事宜，通知如下： |
| I. Beginning on January 1, 2026, for all patent applications, requests for reexamination, requests for declaration of invalidation, and related procedures processed electronically, electronic patent files shall be submitted in XML format. The China National Intellectual Property Administration (“CNIPA”) shall no longer accept electronic patent files in non-XML formats. | | 一、自2026年1月1日（含当日）起，以电子形式办理专利申请、复审请求、无效宣告请求及相关手续的，应当以XML格式提交专利电子文件，国家知识产权局不再接受非XML格式的专利电子文件。 |
