| Around August 2022 and April 2023, Han Xgong caught two golden coin turtles (Cuora trifasciata) from a river near Sanpai Village, Wangxia Township, Changjiang County, Hainan (within the National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest) and brought them home. Expert examinations confirm that the species is golden coin turtle, that wild golden coin turtles are listed in theList of State Key Protected Wild Animalsunder the category of grade-2 wild aquatic animals, and that the total value of the two wild golden coin turtles is evaluated at 100,000 yuan. Hainan Provincial People's Procuratorate Second Branch charged Han Xgong with the crime of imperiling rare and endangered wild animals. | | 韩某公分别于2022年8月、2023年4月左右，在海南省昌江县王下乡三派村附近河流（属海南热带雨林国家公园范围内）先后捕获“金钱龟”2只并带回家饲养。经鉴定，涉案龟类动物系三线闭壳龟，野外种群属于列入《国家重点保护野生动物名录》的国家二级重点保护水生野生动物，野外种群三线闭壳龟的成体2只核定价值共计100000元。海南省人民检察院第二分院以韩某公犯危害珍贵、濒危野生动物罪提起公诉。 |
